Website Care Plans
Website care plans, from people who can actually fix things.
Updates, backups, monitoring, and priority fixes, handled monthly by the developers who build sites for a living. For sites we built and sites we didn’t. Cancel anytime.

What this is
A monthly arrangement, not a monthly hostage.
A care plan is one flat monthly price for keeping your website healthy: software kept current, backups that actually restore, someone watching the monitors, and a developer answering when something breaks. It also covers the small changes that come up, turned around quickly because we already know the site.
Who it’s for: businesses without a developer on staff, sites where downtime costs real money, owners tired of being their own webmaster at 10pm, and companies whose site was abandoned by whoever built it.
The problem
Websites don’t break loudly. They rot quietly.
The classic story: the contact form stopped sending in March and nobody noticed until June, which means a season of enquiries went into a void. Meanwhile updates piled up because clicking them felt risky, and the pile is exactly what attackers scan for. The backup? Configured once, never tested, and the first restore attempt is during the emergency.
None of this shows on the surface. The site looks fine right up until the week it very much doesn’t, and the cleanup for a hacked site costs more than years of care would have.
What’s included
The boring work, done on a schedule.
Updates, rehearsed first
Software changes run on a staging copy before they touch your live site. This one habit prevents most update disasters.
Backups that restore
Taken daily, and actually tested, because a backup you’ve never restored is a hope, not a backup.
Monitoring with humans behind it
Uptime, errors, and speed drift watched around the clock, with a person alerted when something needs judgement.
The silent-failure checks
Forms and checkout flows tested on a schedule, because those are the breakages that cost money without making a sound.
Security kept tight
Hardening maintained, suspicious activity watched, and patches applied while they’re news, not history.
Priority when it matters
When something breaks, you’re at the front of the queue with the people who can actually reach the code.
A short monthly note
What was done, what was fixed, and anything worth your attention. Plain language, a minute to read.
Sites we didn’t build
Yes, we’ll adopt your website.
Plenty of care clients arrive with a site built elsewhere and abandoned. We start with a short audit so we know what we’re taking responsibility for, fix anything dangerous, and then care for it like one of ours. And if the honest finding is that the site is too fragile to be worth maintaining, you’ll get that verdict with a rebuild price, not a monthly fee for managing decline.
Why us
Builders on watch, not resellers of updates.
Most “maintenance packages” are automated update-clicking resold with a logo. Ours is developers watching sites they understand, with staging rehearsals, tested restores, and the ability to fix what monitoring finds. The proof is in the portfolio: Blue Line Sign & Install and Bay Area Fireplace have been hosted and managed here since their launch, and they’ve never needed to call anyone else.
No lock-in, on principle. Plans are monthly and cancel anytime. You own the site either way, so the only thing keeping you is the work being good. And the boundaries stay clear: small changes are covered; bigger work gets scoped and quoted as a project, so the plan never becomes an argument about what “maintenance” means.

Common questions
All servicesIt’s a flat monthly price quoted after we look at your site, because a five-page company site and a busy store need very different levels of care. No setup traps, no lock-in, and the price is in writing before you commit.
No. Sites built elsewhere are welcome after a short onboarding audit, which exists so we know exactly what we’re taking responsibility for. Some of our longest relationships started as adoptions.
Hosting keeps the server running. It doesn’t update your site’s software, test your forms, watch your speed, or fix what breaks. Those are different layers, and the gap between them is where sites quietly fail.
Monitoring runs around the clock and alerts a human. Care plan clients go to the front of the queue, and you’ll know who’s on it and what’s happening rather than waiting on a ticket number.
No, and we mean it. You own everything and the admin is built to be usable. Plenty of clients just send a message through the site when something comes up. The plan is for businesses that want the watching handled, not a condition of working with us.
You keep the site, the backups, and a clean handover note for whoever comes next. No exit fees, no held hostages. Most people stay because the monthly note keeps proving the plan is working.
Small changes, yes. Bigger work, a new section, a feature, a redesign, gets scoped and quoted separately as a project, so your monthly price stays honest and the boundaries stay clear.
Next step
Hand over the worrying.
Send your website address through the contact form. We’ll take a look, tell you what state it’s in, and quote one flat monthly price for making its health someone else’s job. Ours.
